The lyrics of the song “Him” by Lily Allen (2009) recognize the victims
of the September 11 destruction because of the terrorist attacks initiate by
religious rebel group al-Qaeda upon the United States in New York City and
the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.
These attacks
were also referred to as September 11, September 11th, or 9/11 which resulted
to 2,996 immediate (attack time) deaths: 2,977 victims and the 19 hijackers.
