Preparedness for every season and occassion

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry this post is kind of late. Anyway, this post would be a part of last week’s theme, which is about rain, or disasters. We all know that this past few weeks the Philippines faced another dilemma – which was the storm Maring. It was another tough time for us. Floods were everywhere, even in our home, La loma, were affected. We lived here for more than 13 years, and it was the first time that we encountered something like floods or whatsoever. I hope everyone had already recovered from that terrifying experience.
Here are a few tips to be prepared for unexpected natural calamities:
1. Prepare an emergency exit/escape plan
You should know where you can go out, aside from the main entrance/exit of the house.
2. Stock on supplies that would for at least a month
This includes battery operated radio, clothes, clean water, food, cellphone, flashlight, first aid kits, etc.
3. Teach every member of the family what to do in case of emergency
As they always say, it’s better to prevent than to cure.
Any who, moving to the main content of my article, I’ve chosen the timeless “Masdan mo ang kapaligiran” by Asin. This one’s pretty old, but it never gets out of style. It talks about Mother Nature, and how we people abuse it, as usual. Here’s a copy of the lyrics of the song:

Repeat refrain 2:

It touched my heart since I was an elementary student because I was a nature lover since I was young. It made me realize that it’s not only us who would be affected by what we’re doing, but also our future generations. Another post on the internet was that we humans are weird, we’ll cut down trees for paper production and then write “Save the trees” on it. Makes senses right?

The song is right, we only have one life, and one planet to live in, we should really take good care of it. I believe that karma only has one menu; we get served what we deserve.
